South Carolina Sports Turf Association

Members of the South Carolina Sports Turf Managers Association (SCSTMA) manage the sports fields of schools, universities, and parks and recreation departments, as well as those used by professional teams throughout South Carolina.

This organization of professionals combine scientific agronomic principles with technical expertise to develop and maintain safe and aesthetically pleasing playing surfaces for ALL levels of play. Our Chapter offers its members the opportunity to meet regularly to discuss and develop athletic field programs and share their expertise to best serve athletes at all levels. We are one of 27 recognized chapter affiliates of the National STMA.

Spring SCSTMA @ Death Valley 17 April:
Mar, 10 2008 — Mike Echols of Clemson University is going to open the doors to the stadium for our spring meeting/field day and athletic facility tour. The meeting will start about 11 am at the West End Zone/Death Valley just after the Poa meeting the Dr Bert McCarty is having in Clemson earlier in the morning.
